Changes.

On Thursday, January 21st, 2021, I booked a flexible ticket to Costa Rica.

The following weekend I donated and disposed of 8 big black trash bags of clothes and other stuff, and drove the rest to a storage.

The following week I made sure to meet up with as many friends and family members as possible.

One by one, I told them about my latest life crisis, and said my goodbyes.

I emailed the few clients I had and told them I'll be taking 48 hours off, and after that only be available for online calls in their afternoons. It was met with so many cheerful, positive and motivating responses; although they expressed sadness over not getting to enjoy my presence at their offices from now on. (My clients at that time were the best!!)

On Feb. 1st, I packed the few remaining pieces of clothes I had left in my backpack and left to hand over the keys to the apartment.

On Feb. 2nd I landed in San José, Costa Rica.

I had found a cute airbnb for my first week. I didn't even know how far from the airport it was. But the daughter offered to pick me up. It was only 3 hours drive one way.

After that, I had no idea where I would end up, but I knew I would figure it out. I always figure it out.

Little did I know I would end up pushing that return ticket, and eventually stay for two years, with occasional visits to Sweden.

Little did I know I would actually tripple my revenue and double the amount of clients.

Little did I know, that everything; every part of this journey, would lead me to where I am right now.

So where am I right now?

Well, it's not been a dance on roses, of course, but it did open up my eyes to see the world from a wider perspective, and to find myself; my passion and purpose again.

Isn't it crazy how we are so scared of the unknown, of changes, that we end up doing.. none.

So I'm currently doing a lot of changes to my life. (Don't worry, I'm staying in Sweden this time!)

I'm throwing myself into the unknown, but also implementing some changes to my current part-time business to better align with my values.
